Position Summary
Infinity Contractors is seeking a strategic and experienced Division Manager of Safety to lead our safety initiatives across multiple construction and contracting sites. This management role is responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive safety strategy that aligns with our commitment to excellence, compliance, and employee well-being. The ideal candidate will possess in-depth expertise in construction safety and regulatory compliance, fostering a proactive safety culture throughout the organization.
Primary Responsibilities
· Develop and execute a company-wide safety strategy tailored to construction operations.
· Lead and mentor a team of safety professionals across multiple job sites and divisions.
· Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, DOT, and industry-specific regulations, including NFPA, ASME, and ANSI standards.
· Oversee incident investigations, root cause analysis, and implementation of corrective actions.
· Establish and drive continuous improvement in safety performance metrics (KPI’s).
· Collaborate with division managers, project managers, field supervisors, and HR to manage risk and promote safety accountability.
· Streamline safety reporting from operations. Simplify PTP’s, EOD’s, Equipment checks, dig permits, and incident reports.
· Conduct safety audits, inspections, and third-party assessments across all operational sites.
· Championing a proactive safety culture through training programs, toolbox talks, and leadership engagement.
· Create and maintain professional relationships with customers, subcontractors, and vendors.
· Manage safety budgets and allocate resources to support strategic safety initiatives.
· Represent Infinity Contractors in regulatory matters and industry safety forums.
· Organize and maintain all training documentation and reporting.
· Develop a state-of-the-art equipment training program and career pathing.
· Recruit, hire, and train individuals to achieve an ideal safety team.
Qualifications & Requirements
Must be at least 18 years of age
Valid Driver’s License required
· Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred).
· 10+ years of progressive safety leadership experience in construction and contracting environments.
· CSP, CHST, or equivalent certification strongly preferred.
· Expert knowledge of OSHA, EPA, NFPA, and other regulatory frameworks relevant to the construction industry.
· Proven track record of reducing incidents and improving safety culture across multi-site operations.
· Strong leadership, communication, and strategic planning skills.
Preferred Skills & Attributes
· Experience in civil and electrical contracting safety programs.
· Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
· Familiarity with safety management systems (SMS) and digital reporting tools.
