Position Summary
The Foreman supports the Superintendent and Project Management team by coordinating field operations, managing schedules, overseeing safety and performance, and ensuring work is completed efficiently and to standard. This role is responsible for job site execution from start to finish and plays a critical role in maintaining productivity, safety, and team morale.
Primary Responsibilities
Assist supervisors with ordering materials, managing schedules, and coordinating job site activities
Prepare and maintain required documentation, including Jobsite Safety Analysis (JSA), Jobsite Hazard Analysis (JHA), and safety reports
Interpret and track project schedules, providing two-week look-ahead plans and forecasting manpower needs
Read and interpret blueprints and specifications to plan work procedures and determine construction requirements
Formally request and manage materials, tools, and supplies
Train and mentor workers on construction methods, equipment operation, safety procedures, and company policies
Monitor crew performance, anticipate production challenges, and recommend solutions to improve efficiency and morale
Measure, mark, and verify layout locations for structures and equipment
Maintain a safe, organized, and compliant job site at all times.
Manage daily process for equipment inspections and end-of-day reporting to ensure compliance, accuracy, and operational continuity.
Qualifications & Requirements
Must be at least 18 years of age
Valid Driver’s License required
High school diploma or GED required (technical or community college preferred)
Minimum 5 years of industry experience recommended
Minimum 1 year of underground electrical construction experience (required)
Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen
Ability to work 40+ hours per week and overtime as required
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., work overhead, stand for extended periods, and climb
stairs/ladders
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
