Operator
Operator must be proficient with heavy equipment such as excavators, skid steers, fork lifts and loaders. Operators must be comfortable working on congested job sites and able to communicate effectively with supervisors. Safe operation of equipment around fellow employees and existing utilities is expected at all times.
Primary Duties
· Operate various construction equipment
· Perform service, safety checks and minor repairs on equipment
· Comply with proper safety standards and expectations
· Visually assess digging areas to ensure it has been properly staked/located prior to digging
· Work with maintenance crew or laborer crew when not operating equipment
Requirements
· 18 years of age or older
· Valid Driver's License
· A high school diploma or GED (community/technical college degree a plus, but not required)
· 2 years of Operating Experience Suggested
· Pass a criminal background check and Pre-Employment Drug Screen
· Ability to work 40 hours per week, and overtime as necessary
· Have full mobility, the ability to lift 50 pounds and work with your hands above your head
· Ability to stand for extended periods of time and climb stairs/ladders
